Training

The SCCAERAB lab at Texas State University is committed to providing outstanding professional development opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students wishing to pursue a career in research. SCCAEARAB lab members will have the opportunity to develop many of the critical skills needed to thrive in a Ph.D. and/or applied research setting (e.g., developing theoretically informed research questions and hypotheses, data analysis, dissemination, professional networking, effective interpersonal communication) in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Lab members may be graduate student researchers (first or second year) who have been accepted to the MAPR program in the psychology department at Texas State or undergraduate psychology majors. At this time the lab is not currently hiring for new paid research positions but is accepting graduate/undergraduate independent study or undergraduate honors thesis applicants. We will recruit for paid research positions for the 2024/2025 academic year.
